Recap of Fall Happenings

Hello all! We had an exciting fall this year, as it was our first ever season of playing Ultimate as a group as well as the first ever season of Ultimate for some of our members. It's been a long road but we've been getting organized and now have officers, a faculty advisor, a team name, and are currently petitioning to be recognized as an official club on campus! 

We even managed to scrape up a squad to participate in Denison's Annual Falling Down the Hill Tournament, with a little help from Lindsey Kleiser, Sam Stewart, Allison Grider, and Lorhel Bomber of UC's women's team. The tournament was a blast and everyone got a lot of playing time! It was definitely a good learning experience for some of our newer players and the more experienced as well as we worked together to score seven points against Oberlin in our final game the second day of playing savage. 

Though we're a new team full of new players I've seen a lot of energy out on the field at practices and we're looking forward to a great spring season after some serious indoor conditioning this winter. We're really looking forward to getting to some more tournaments and improving our skills and teamwork and just playing some great Ultimate!
